i feel a tinge of fear again. :S

I realized i missed quite a great deal of nice movies on tv yesterday and today lols. nvm, we have the internet, don't we? LOLS. For anyone itching to spend some quality 'me' time by sitting till ur butt hurt, here's my 10 most favourite k dramas (u can simply google to find them~):

WITH A BANG! hence this skin and it's my wish all of u blog followers teehee. *must listen to song on the left..points points*

Let's talk about the now. The highlight of my week (i've a boring life!) is our sorta mini korean CNY party cum farewell for some of k-class peeps. I'll keep you guys in my <3~ It was a great day as we learnt how to play CNY games and ate 5 different kinds of rice cake lolsss. I'm not one to appreciate such things (coming from a country who likes things savoury and spicy) but i'm learning. and learning well =). There's quite a few plans and things i wanna do with this part of my life. Sometimes I wonder if I've the determination and perseverance. After all, mere interest and passion isn't everything! I need to pick myself up even when I fail (which i've not encountered yet yayy). I wanna be competent enoughhh to take the proficiency tests, go on exchange (a few of my classmates are so interested!), help out with fan-subbing(to give back to the internet society) and *big dreams big dreams for the future* take a translator test heh heh. so much for a girl who's just started =P.

And of course, Aloy came to visit NUS on wednesday woOhoO. It was really a spur of moment thing and I do like a bit of spontaneity in my life when life can be so dull sometimes~ I was touched when he bought tea bags and paper cups and brought his flask for us to spur us on (a bit too early huh week 5 lols.) Looking through my entries, I found this entry 'thank you' dated 24.08.08...the usual line 'so many things have changed since then'. This is GLC's part and my thoughts now in PURPLE:

The GLC. biggest clique of 11 i had in my entire life oh wow.
1st things that came to mind: seaview, steamboat, badminton, "We're studious & hardworking besides being good loOking" cheer.

I cannot forget the mugging session we had, the time we went to ikea for dinner, the v-day together (thanks pals!), badminton sessions, visit to sx's uncle's house, CNY reunion steamboat dinner...and now adding on to the list we have the kite flying day, the watching Imaginarium day and our up and coming CNY lunch @ nadalala's hse (eh i still dunno how to go lehs)

Anita: we din really tok much but only recently till flyer we got to know each other more.]most of our memorable memories ironically are not with GLC but @ the flyer (soup spoon~~~) and your terrible emo life ack. lOlx. now Anita we have more memories as I got to talk to you the past few months and i'm glad u share bits of ur life with me and our spur of the moment Sentosa outing lolss.

Shawn: the guy who sort of disappeared hahas. but without you there, a piece of jigsaw will be missing~

UI: the angsty girl i remember who cannot stand eating lunch alone just like me! yeu ai is no longer as angsty...she can be cute sometimes lolsss and a bit whiny and wears t-shirts which make lotsa statements OH and now her slogan seems to be 'chillax'

Nadya: always there when she can & YES always there to call me a bimbo/ xiaO jie. nowadays the memories of Nadya seem to be multimedia viewing room LOLS. and we seem to be seeing each other more often than for the previous sems ^.^

Aloy: oh wth this guy. he's there to pick on my xiao-jieness too & expects the world to worship him hahaha. how odd till today i found that we can never get tired of his bhb-ness. still as bhb but I guess he's more susceptible to being suaned now and keeping his mouth shut hahas.

JW: my 1st friend in orientation lOlx & being miss nice. spent more time with JW this sem cos of our mod tgt! as usual we always bully but JW seems to have grown wiser and immune to our attacks lols.

SX: mr. nice & uncle agony, the only guy friend whom i've cried so long & so hard to. i turn to him because i felt he could see thing objectively (am i still right about this?) and for the few attempts @ jogging LOL. SX plays his seemingly phantom role @ times but is there when he wants/ free to. SX's gotten dressier this 2 sems (i wonder what spurred the change o.O). haha i can't believe i wrote there uncle agony lolsss.

Vicki: crappy, extraordinary with wacky thoughts & ideas.

Farhan: stop calling me "Whiny girl" lar! aiyO.

Taffy: looks innocent & mr. nicetie but actually horribly wrong (the typical sg guy) wahaa. Taffy is my sometimes lunch buddy who got touched by what he saw during his exchange. Still, he nerds over studies and speaks like he didn't care on certain matters. Taffy's deeeep.

here i am blogging @ 1.34am when i need to wake up at 5! DAMMIT. that's cos i had 1 cup of tea and 1 cuppa mocha...good work, jasmine arghs.

overdose of movies suddenly..
revived my liking for movie watching again! Watched Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus ytd & Tooth Fairy today..i mus say both are pretty good shows and worth the bucks~! wanna catch Percy Jackson and Alice in Wonderland and Ironman 2`~~~

i kinda appreciated the movie (Imaginarium) more after i read the wiki page on its production notes and was quite shocked the movie was rather 'jinxed' in the sense that 2 people (Heath and a producer) died and the director almost lost his life as well omg. I was complaining how Johnny Depp din get as much screen time as Jude Law and Colin Farrell when i realized Depp did it despite his busy schedule filming Public Enemies at that time...so they only had him for 1 day and a few hrs...so wow tt was astonishing he managed to do this for the love of Heath Ledger..and they actually looked similar, don't they?

Although the Tooth Fairy had a predictable happy ending, the movie was a really hilarious and feel good type. The jokes were not lame (i thought they would be stale) and the antics were funny. And The Rock improved quite a bit in his acting~ and i felt the atmosphere of the theater was really good cos everyone was quite crazy and giggly (altho a bit too giggly at some parts -_-). It's like enjoying a rollercoaster ride when everyone's screaming with u that sorta thing.

Man. i want the Universal Studios to open soOoooonnnn!

give a lil spark to my days.

It's a Carebear given by my mummy lolss. New home for my new handphone. As shown from this carebear, Carebear evolution is getting rapid these days lols. I remember when I was 2 (i din rmb but my parents helped me to), my 1st carebear was the ORIGINAL yellow one that has a sun on its tummy and i named it julie lolss. God..now where's julie *looking arnd frantically for it* and now they have all kinds of carebears that don't really make sense lols. It's my 1st time seeing this purple coloured one with a flower petal on its tummy (?). Ah but cute nonetheless with its shimmery fur and haughty pout.

I guess kids these days don't play with carebears anymore nor do they still go ga-ga over Barney/ Teletubbies?

How i always am in a bad mood when i'm forced to wake up by the screaming alarm but this may change those terrible mood swings a little bit?

And we finally took a photo together! It's sort of our 1st (and i feel last =( ) mini outing tgt after korean lesson. I guess more pictures of my class will be coming out soon next week~

Mondays are always the blue days but korean lessons make Mondays bearable and worth going through =)

current dramas airing & i'm watching =D

Based on the manga with the same title, Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge shows the life of 4 studenst. Blessed with good looks Takano Kyohei , Toyama Yukinojo, Oda Takenaga and Morii Ranmaru were given a mission by their landlord Nakahara which would provide them with free lodging if they could turn her niece Sunako into a lady. Sunako however, appears before the four of them is a spooky girl whose hair covers her face and who loves horror and vampires. And so, their tumultuous communal life begins.

Ratings: 3/5 - the anime is better! Sunako was drawn most of the time in chibi form so it makes the story more comical and enjoyable.

Set during the Joseon Dynasty, Chuno follows the story of Lee Dae Gil, a man from a noble family, whose life was ruined by Kim Seong Hwan. Kim Seong Hwan was a slave owned by Dae Gil's family who burned down Dae Gil's house when his sister, Un Nyun was going to be sold. Driven by his desire for revenge as well as love for Un Nyun, he survives his harsh years on the street and makes his name as a slave hunter the past 10 years. At the same time, a man named Song Tae Ha chanced Un Nyun (now Hye Won who ran away on her wedding night) and travelled with her. Both men become entangled in a love triangle with Hye Won.

strange encounters with people today.

this morning, I was sitting beside a lady (prior to that we were standing near the same mrt door so i din tink i'll regret later on). AND LO AND BEHOLD, throughout the whole train ride for 30mins, she was blasting music so loud that i'm forced to listen to hers instead of my own omggg.

come to think of it, not very sure if she had earphones on or she was simply listening with the speakers (the latter is even more inconsiderate). But it was so loud that people standing in front of us in the crowded train were stealing glances @ her (some just stared @ her). we could even hold a mini dance party if we wanted to cos the tunes were so hip hop and r&b lolsss.

At LT 11 for my class, i guess it's either the lecturer's soft or becos the lt's so big there's a larger capacity for echo..people behind and around us were talking quite loudly. The moment my lecturer said smth and mentioned the word 'surprise (with a str8 lecturer tone)', the guy at the back went "SURPRISE (with the jack-in-the-box tone)". Three rows in front of him including my fren and I simply had to turn back and looked @ him LOLSS.

OMGGG...the weird things people do these days.
